In 1990 I started running regularily, and this was another activity that called for lycra tights. Very soon I entered my local running club Sparta and started participating in races. Taking part in races as a club member meant I had to run in club colours, and thus I bought this pair of our Sub4 club tights. I ran my first marathon in Berlin in 1990 - the first marathon across the line of the once divided city, and this pic is taken before the start of Paris Marathon in March 1992, which I finished in 3:06:24
