My surgeon had told me that I should expect to wait 3-4 months after the surgery before I tried to return to running again, but this apparently never happened after the first surgery. And after the second surgery my physio told me that it would be quite unusual if I could return to running again, as she had never had any patient who could be able to run again with two knee transplants.
