Yet still it was clear to see that something had changed, even though I had not been here before, as it was evident to see how far and high the glaciers had reached not so long ago. The glaciers on the far side are tributaries to the great Zmutt glacier, which had withdrawn several kilometres in the recent years, and as far as I could see even these higher tributaries were about to dry out.
