For two months during the summer of 2008, I was the leader of the Danish expedition to the Gasherbrum 2 mountain in Pakistan, and being in this conservative country, it was not possible to wear my beloved lycra legwear, neither during the trek in and out, nor in the base camp. But I decided it would be okay to wear it in my tent, so I could just stay there, watching the days go by.
