On the other side of the bridge I ascended to the village of Smørumovre and thus had arrived at the end of the public trail from Veksø. From here I had grown used to continue north on the road to the railway line, which I could follow back to Veksø. There had always been a lovely dirt road along the railway, but a few years ago this dirt road had been asphalted.
