When I wore my maroon Insport tights again, eleven years had passed, and I had been struck by a blood clot in 2013. Also I had had two knee surgeries in 2019 and 2021 to cure my knock-knees, and we all had been hampered by the corona pandemic. So for a while I was now living a more sedate life, and on a day in August 2022 I was frequenting the Oscar café for a beer.
