While making the approach to the glaciar I was wearing some lycra shorts, but once on the glacier I had switched to these blue Insport tights, which became the perfect companion on the icy glacier as well as for rappelling down the steep slope below the pass. These tights are a size Large, so I easily could wear them all day, several days in the row.
