High Gear

Only a few hours after leaving the campsite I arrived at Botrange, with 700 meters the highest point in Belgium. A long time ago this hill on top has been built to make it possible to exceed the 700m, but now the main feature of the site is a big parking lot and a starting point for cross-country skiing in winter. Plus a large cafeteria where I went for a late morning coffee.
