Running my last lap before returning home, I ran along a small, partially overgrown lake. This lake was right in the middle of a major bend of the Forty Mile Creek, and one of the more scenic parts of the Fenland Trail loop. I can easily recommend the Fenland Trail for a training run, should your way pass by Banff.
