I had come to Bormio in North Italy and now had the intention to climb Cima di Reit, so on this sunny day I had set out from Bormio to climb the peak. And after about an hour on a country road, then a dirt road I now was heading up a small trail, winding its way up along a ridge towards Croce di Reit.
