I had now stayed several hours on Croce di Reit, and as it was slowly getting late in the day I had to think about descending to the valley. So far I had had all the hill to myself, but I had descended no more than maybe 100m before a crew of hillrunners came striding up the trail. And I must say that I was a bit envious!
