However, this is neither Midtown New York, nor 1998. Being quite heavy, and not super stretchy, these tights were reserved for the mountains, and September 2000 I took them on one first trip to Mittelberg in Austria. With five friends I had planned a prolonged weekend up in the high mountains, hoping to climb one or two mountains while there. Winter had already come, the huts were closed, so we had quite a bit to carry up to our planned campsite.
