Around noon my race started and I dived into the woods, for about an hour later to emerge again at the finish line. Grabbed a glass of water and my change of clothes, and ten minutes later I catched the bus for Hillerød on the country road. I had been running in my new Avia tights, but had no time to change, so I entered the bus still in my running clothes.
